The Technology and Innovation Centre (TIC) at the University of Strathclyde is a hub for world-leading research, transforming the way academics, business, industry and the public sector collaborate; working together to find solutions to challenges that matter in areas of economic importance – including power and energy, health and manufacturing – and helping companies compete globally.

The TIC offers excellent conference facilities with a spacious lecture theatre and an adjacent space for posters, exhibition and refreshments.



There is no accommodation arranged by the conference. However, there are a number of nearby hotels, including the Mercure Glasgow City Hotel and the Premier Inn Glasgow George Square. No special conference rates have been negotiated as it is usually possible to get better rates through online booking services such as Late Rooms or


Glasgow Airport is served by flights from North America and most major European cities and is a short taxi ride from the University of Strathclyde. Alternatively, there is a shuttle bus every 10 mintues.
